Playtime with Daddy. . .

FIFTH DAY. . FIFTH BLOG!  GO ME! :)

Every night when Gabe comes home from work, he plops on the living room floor and has Daddy/Carson time.  It's hilarious to watch, because Gabe always gets Carson rolling doing something silly.  This particular night Carson was pretending to squirt Gabe in the face with his squirter and Gabe was playing into it and boy was it funny! :)

FOURTH DAY. . .FOURTH BLOG! :)

Every time we go to my parents house, Carson thinks he has to ride on Grandpa's LOADER TRACTOR!   Grandpa always gives in and gets it out of the garage!  My dad has many different tractors and things and Carson know the specific name to each one.  He even knows which place they are in whether it be the ""garage or the "man shed" . . .which is what my dad calls his building!

 When he gets off he will have to tell us all about how the loader went. .  UPPPPP and then it went.  . . DOOOWWWWN!

4th of July

THIRD day. . THIRD blog!

Gabe and I headed North over the 4th and spent the weekend in Okoboji.  We left Carson with my parents and 2 nights and 3 days was just a little too long for this Mommy to be away from her little man!  But he survived and I survived.  It was a lot of relaxing and boating and hanging with family and friends!  It was absolutely perfect weather all 3 days we were there so needless to say we all got a little too much sun!  We were able to catch fireworks by boat on the lake Sunday night and they were fabulous!  Thanks to all who helped share the 4th with us!  It was a blast!

Boji Fun!

TWO blogs in TWO days. . and I have a few more in store!

We have done a few trips to Okoboji with Carson, both have been a bit chilly and not great boating weather, but he was still loving it!  Just a few pictures from the trips!  We are boji bound again next weekend and hoping for nice weather so Carson can actually enjoy the water a little bit!

Grandpa and Grandma's 60th!!!

So blogging world. . I have made it a point this week to blog. . hopefully daily!  That is my goal so watch out! :)  At the beginning of June, my grandparents took all their children and grandchildren. . and great grandchildren up to Storm Lake to Kings Pointe Waterpark for the weekend!  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June and this is how they wanted to celebrate!  We all had a blast being together for the day and night!  God has truly blessed us with an amazing family and it all started with Grandpa and Grandma!  I pray that Gabe and I follow in their footsteps of faith, love, and happiness for 60 plus years! :)  We love you so much Grandpa and Grandma Ahrenholtz!  We are blessed to have you in our lives!
