Watch me grow. . .3 months

My little peanut is 3 months old!  He is FINALLY starting to sound a little better with this RSV stuff.  

At 3 months Kellen:

Eating 4 ounces every 3-4 hours

Smiles ALLL the time! Happiest baby I know!

Will stick out his tongue mid smiles as well

Sleeps through the night: Goes to bed about 9 or 9:30 and sleeps until 7

Has the biggest, bluest eyes

Just started wearing size 3-6 month clothes--he is soooo long!  

In size 1-2 diapers--about ready for size 2

Loves chewing on his fist

Loves batting at the animals when sitting in his bouncer

Is almost ready to start laughing--especially when Daddy and he are doing "TOUCHDOWN!"

Random Friday Post!

So I was told I hadn't blogged in a while, so I thought I would throw one together quick! Kellen was tested positive for RSV last Thursday. . poor baby!:(  This past weekend was awful and I was very tempted to take him to the emergency room.  However, we got through and he is improving little by little each day.  He has been home with Daddy and Grandma's all week (Mommy has no more sick days :( )  He is still on his nebulizer every 2-3 hours during the day.  He is also still doing a great job of sleeping through the night, but is definitely ready for a treatment come morning.  He has been a very happy baby even though he has to deal with this icky stuff.  Kellen's cough still bothers me a little bit, but hopefully we can see some more improvements through the weekend!  Carson has a cough too, but the doctor didn't seem too worried about RSV affecting him.  Below are some pictures from a few weekends ago that I thought I'd share since I haven't taken any photos the past week!

Sunday Baths!

So we have an extremely busy week this week.  Conferences 2 nights and Gabe's first district game on Thursday night.  The only positive. . .NO SCHOOL FRIDAY!  I miss my boys already and can't imagine how I will be feeling come 8:30 tonight!  Last night we did baths and we had some pretty entertaining boys! :)

Wordless Wednesday

Snowy Saturday

So our Saturday consisted of LOTS of snow!  This was our first real snowfall of the year so we were all excited about it!  We probably got around 10 inches when it was all said and done!  After Carson woke up from his nap, he and Gabe went outside to play in the snow for a while.  I was in and out snapping a few pictures here and there!

Was NOT impressed when Daddy tried starting the snow blower!

It was PERFECT snow for a snowman named Frosty!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!! :)

Kellen is 2 months!

My baby boy is 2 months old. . . it is just amazing to me this little miracle that God has given us.  Looking at where Kellen was 2 months ago and how well he is doing today is just amazing to me!  

Gabe and I are truly blessed with 2 healthy boys that we love so very much! :)

Kellen:

2 months old

Weight: 12 lb. 5 oz. (between 50^th-75^th percentile)

Length: 25 inches long (95^th percentile)

Eats 4 ounces every 3-4 hours (strictly breast milk)

Goes to bed between 830-930 and sleeps until about 3:00.  Then up around 7. (Loves his sleep just like his Mommy!:)--He has slept until 4 or 5 quite a few nights as well

Still gets swaddled before he goes to bed

Still sleeps in the bassinet in Mommy and Daddy’s room

Knows his Mommy and knows when she is close!

Has the biggest, bluest eyes (hope they stay blue like his brothers)

Coos and smiles—most smiley in the mornings (his first smile was at 6 weeks)

His new thing is sticking out his tongue! So Darn Cute!

Loves to take naps on his tummy when he is at home.

In 0-3 month clothes

Such a GOOD baby!  Hardly ever fusses or cries unless he is hungry or tired.
