Memorial Day Weekend

Gabe and I had another busy busy weekend! After school on Friday, we took off for Okoboji. Dad had supper prepared and on the table as we arrived and it was delicious! After supper, we had fun eating my chocolate covered strawberries that Mom and Dad had sent to school for my birthday! They were amazing!! Saturday we were all excited to head out on the boat. . then it started raining. The sun did come out about 3:00 so we all jumped on the boat and went for a cruise. Sweatshirts were needed but the sun was great!


Sunday morning, Gabe and I headed back to Adair to do some landscaping--well, Gabe had to do some landscaping! :) Gabe's parents and grandparents came down for the day and it was a lot of fun. Gabe's grandparents live in Florida during the winter so this was the first time we had seen them since last fall!

Monday we headed back to Kirkman for a Memorial Day luncheon with Gabe's family. It was Dena's birthday too--she is 14. ( I remember when she was 6 and I would carry her around--how time flies) So watch out on the road if you see her behind the wheel. Scary!
