chocolate chip cookies. . .

So Carson LOVES anything chocolate. . gets that after his mommy! :) I made cookies the other day and Carson was literally stealing them off the kitchen table. After supper we were eating the cookies--so it was only fair to give Carson one too. They were still warm. . . as you can see below--he had a little too much fun with his cookie--

Leah's 1 year pics!

Who doesn't like to see a cute little girl. . all decked out in pink and fufuness(I know. . not a word).  Well, I had the privelage again of taking Miss Leah's 1 year pics!  She wasn't as smiley as her mommy would have liked her to be--but she was still the cutest little model!  Here are a few of the final product!

BABY COUSIN!

I have been so excited to post this news. We have a new baby joining the family in October! Gabe's brother Brandon and wife Erin are expecting!  They shared the news a few weekends ago when we were home and it was so great how they told everybody!  Erin made Carson a shirt and when I went to change his diaper we put the shirt on him and had him spread the news!  The babies due date is October 15th--just a few days shy of Carson's 2nd birthday! :)  We couldn't be happier for Brandon and Erin and wish them the best in this new journey in their life! Love you both so much!

Thanks Aunt Erin for the shirt! :)  I can finally wear it in public now! :)

I haven't had a ton of updates lately and I appologize for that! My camera hasn't been out lately so I haven't captured a ton of pictures--so here are a few I took a week or so ago.  I promise you will get a Carson update. . .SOOOON! :)

Sometimes it is just sooo hard to find the perfect book. .

outlets. . .

So ever since Carson was little, he has been obsessed with outlets!  Well, it hasn't stopped quite yet. . . he loves to try and plug things in.  Gabe and I have put those safety plugs over most of the outlets except for the ones we use daily.  Carson's favorite plug-in he tries to attack is in his room. . plugging in his humidifier.  I usually stop him before he gets this far but I just had to show you how ornery he is becoming!
