Christmas Eve 2011

It's always a tradition of ours to go to church on Christmas Eve.  I absolutely LOVE Christmas Eve service because it's all about the birth of Jesus and truly reminds us the reason for the season!  After church we head to the Plumb Christmas.  It's always held in Irwin at one of Gabe's Aunt and Uncles--it is with all of Gabe's mom's brothers and sisters!  It is always a packed house, but it is a great to time to catch up with cousins that you don't see all year.  Our evening in pictures!!

Baughman Christmas

The Friday before Christmas we had the Baughman Christmas at Gabe's parent's house.  We spent the day relaxing, opening presents, and baptizing baby Keira.  Ok. . so not much relaxing. . but it was a fun-filled day and we were exhausted by Friday night!  It is so great to get all Gabe's siblings together at once because it doesn't seem to happen too terribly often!  It makes for a full house, but it is so much fun. .especially now with 3 little ones!
We thought the morning was a good time to get all the kids cooperating for pictures so we attempted to take one several by the tree.  It is a great thing that Carson loves holding his baby brother. . because we had many takes!  I wish I would have gotten a picture from the kids view--hands and noises and cheezes coming from all angles!
Carson was posing before pictures!
Attempt 1--Carson was cheezing at someone else besides the camera!
Attempt 2--looking at his baby brother instead of Mommy!
Attempt3--attempting to keep Kellen in arms
Attempt 4-- needing assistance so Kellen didn't accidentally get dropped
Attempt 5--not looking at the camera
Attempt 6--this is as good as it gets with 3 wee ones! :)

Didn't get a ton of pictures opening presents b/c I was feeding Kellen part of the time and trying to keep track of all our other gifts while Carson was tearing into them! :)

(Gabe's mom won a raffle a little while ago. .and instead of taking the money. . she is taking us on a trip this summer!  We are all super excited and can't wait!)

Ahrenholtz Christmas!

I realize I am a little behind in the blogging world!  My goal is to get you all up to speed on our Christmas celebrations with in the next few days!  One Christmas at a time!
The Sunday before Christmas, we were out at my Grandpa and Grandma Ahrenholtz's house with our first Christmas of the season!  We had a blast and were spoiled by both of them!  My grandma is seriously super woman!  I honestly don't know how she does it!  She has 16 grandkids (plus spouses) and Kellen made number 18 for great grandkids. . .and she buys gifts for EVERYONE!  She does an awesome job and we are so thankful she still has the energy to put up with all of us!  Love you lots Grandpa and Grandma!  We are so Blessed!
