Pumpkin Patch

So Friday we decided to head to the pumpkin patch since it was our last chance before it was too late! I was back home at my parents house because Gabe was up at Boji helping his Uncle Ben with some roofing projects.  It was a bit cold out, but we bundled up and made the best of it!  Carson loved all the different rides and picking out his own pumpkin!  Here are a few pictures of our night!

Yes, Mommy got suckered in to riding the train with the boys! :)

Carson Turns 3!

My little man is THREE!  My first thought at the thought of this: "How am I old enough to have a 3 year old?"  I know I am not  a young-un anymore--but I just can't get over that I've spent the last 3 years being a MOMMY!  It has been the greatest 3 years of our lives!  Carson is the sweetest, most loving little boy I know.  He is a great big brother, but still likes to have most of the attention!  ;) He is very smart and tells us new things every day!  Carson is very animated and has lots of emotions when telling us stories and talking in general!  He is very patient and detailed when it comes to his toys--I love to just sit and watch him play and pretend with his tractors and cars.  I love the fact that he still LOVES to cuddle and give hugs! He  loves any type of sport with a ball, loves anything john deere, and loves trains!
Our lives have been forever changed since Carson came into our life and I thank God everyday for this amazing journey he has led us on!
Since I am kind of big into birthday 'themes' we decided to go with Thomas the Train this year.  Carson loves his Thomas trains and this was very fitting for him!  We took him to Thomas the Train in Boone last month, but added to it this month with a big birthday celebration!  Enjoy the birthday party in pictures!

Present Time!  He was so cute because he opened the card and read it, then would open the present, and then pick up the wrapping paper and get ready for the next gift!

During present time, Kellen was entertained with the fan!  Love him!

My baby sister got married!

It is still hard to fathom that my baby sister got married almost 2 weeks ago now!
We started the weekend of on Thursday decorating and getting the hall to look beautiful!  On Friday was all about the pampering!  Pedis and Manis all around!  It was a pretty relaxing day--well kind of--and we finished it off with rehearsal followed by rehearsal supper put on by my amazing aunts! Then came Saturday--WEDDING DAY!!!
Looking back on the day, words can't described how perfect the day was, how beautiful of bride Christin was, and how much fun we all had--next to Christin and Justin, I may have had the most fun of all! ;)  There were nerves, emotions, and excitement throughout the entire day, but everything was perfect!
I was stressing about my speech for days approaching the wedding!  As the MOH,  your speech is supposed to be funny and well planned out and the most important part of the reception. .well so I thought!  My stress and anxiety over the speech was all worth it though because it was priceless to see Christin's face as I was telling some childhood stories and how I felt about her new husband and their life together! They are truly a perfect match! :)
Below are a few pictures of the days events leading to the wedding--I could have posted hundreds of pictures, but limited them so you aren't scrolling for days!  Love my little sister and am so extremely happy for her and Justin!
