Christmas Day!

I am going to start with Christmas Eve after we got back to my parents house from the Plumb Christmas.  Carson was a tired little boy so I was going to get him ready for bed when he disappeared with his Aunt Christin!  I guess Carson decided that he wanted to open a present. . . so Aunt Christin gave in.
What is it Carson. . .
Carson's very own VACUUUUUUUUUUUUM!  He is obsessed with vacuums so what a perfect gift!  He absolutely loved it!
Aunt Christin wanted to give him a hug before he went to bed. . he was NOT letting go of his vacuum!  We literally had to pry it out of his hands and hide it so he could go to bed!

We woke up Christmas morning at my parents house. We took it easy and had brunch about 10. . .it was delicious! My mom made an egg bake and cooked a ham.  We toasted to a happy and healthy 2011. . what a wonderful way to start the day! Carson was done eating and I made the mistake of asking him if he wanted to open presents in a little while. Into the living room he ran saying presents and pointing. We then decided we should all be done so we could let the fun begin! We took our time opening gifts and Carson was a HUGE helper! We all got so many wonderful gifts. . . we are all spoiled! My grandparents stopped by for a little while after gift opening to say Merry Christmas.  Love them!
We then spent the afternoon watching a movie while Carson napped.
Present Time?

Christmas evening we headed to Gabe's parents house to start the fun all over again. Everyone was able to make it back so it was a full house! We had a wonderful meal and then it was present time again. And again. . .we were spoiled with gifts and Carson was very much entertained at all the crazy. . noisy. . gifts his uncles gave him.

Christmas 2010

So. . we are unpacked, everything put away, and lots of new goodies and toys to make noise and keep Carson entertained!  You know that toy box my dad built for Carson for his birthday. . . yep. . ALREADY FULL! Actually, overflowing would be the correct term because we have the "big" toys placed sporadically throughout the house! :)

It was another blessed Christmas with family.  Carson was so much fun this year.  He got very into his presents and LOVED unwrapping them!  He even had to help unwrap Mommy and Daddy's gifts as well.  We traveled home Thursday afternoon to beat the the storm that the wonderful news guys had been talking about all week.  It was nothing compared to last years Christmas storm!  We spend Thursday evening with Gabe's parents.  Friday was spent with  my parents, going to Christmas Eve service, and then heading to the Plumb Christmas (Gabe's mom's family).  It is so great to see family that you maybe only see once or twice a year! I am going to have to have another post for Christmas day because there are just too many pictures! :)  Enjoy our Thursday and Friday festivities!

Woke up Thursday morning and decided it was present time!  Do you think Carson knows what this is?!?! :)

His very own BROOM!

Another present!

Ball?

Showing Daddy his ball. . so excited!

Friday morning at my mom and dad's house. . .mom thought Carson needed to open a present!

Carson. . .Leah. . .

Last night, Carson and I went over to my friend Bethany's house to hang out with her daughter Leah while she decorated a cake.  I decided I needed to bring my camera since she hasn't updated her blog in. . .FOREVER! :)  Here are a few I snapped!
Love this face!

Carson was trying to give Leah a hug!  She wasn't digging it!

 Oh so innocent!
