1 week old!

It's hard to believe that our baby boy will be one week old tonight at 12:30. He has done so much changing in the last week and it has been SO nice to have Gabe at home with us all week. We have had some great family bonding time and Gabe has been such a great daddy/husband! I told him tonight that I am going to have separation anxiety when he has to go back to school on Monday and leave us. :(
Carson had his first doctor's appointment today and he is back at his birth weight already: 9 pounds 4 ounces! Doctor was wondering if Mommy was producing cream :) Everything else looked fantastic. We have to go back next week because Carson has this bump on his head that he got from me pushing him out. I think it is called hematoma or something like that but it's fluid that builds up. It has gone down a little bit this week but Doctor wants to see us next week to check it out again.
The nights haven't been too bad! The last couple of nights, Carson has gone 3 hours at times between feedings--he is ALWAYS hungry but such a good baby! The only time he gets mad is when we are changing his diaper, bath time, or if his tummy is hungry! It is so fun to watch all his faces while he sleeps and while he is awake!
