Amanda & Eric's Wedding

This weekend, we were in Omaha because my cousin Amanda got married! What a beautiful day for a wedding and what a beautiful couple! It was such a nice ceremony and Amanda looked absolutely stunning! I love being with family and catching up with everyone's lives! Just a few moments caught on camera this weekend!

A side note:
I had my 32 week appointment on Friday! Big News: I have gained a whopping 5 POUNDS this past 2 weeks. WOWSERS! The babies heart rate this week was 134. . .a lot of people have been guessing! Some say the heart rate says that the baby is a boy. Others say because of the way I'm carrying, the baby it has to be a girl!!! We will know in about 7 weeks everyone!!!

32 weeks

32 WEEKS!!! I really can't believe it! It's getting so close--kind of scary! :) But WAY exciting!
My favorite part(and Gabe's) of the days right now are sitting down at night and watching our baby move inside of me and feeling the strong kicks!

This week, the baby weighs about as much as a jicama (almost 4 pounds)!!! Had NO idea what this was until I saw the picture. . and still don't know what it is!

A weekend of relaxation

I was able to relax this weekend! It was probably a blessing that we went to Okoboji because if I would have stayed home, I probably would have worked at cleaning our house the entire weekend-still a disaster but trying to look past it for the moment. Our friends Kevin and Vanessa and Betsy R. and her friend Doug came up to spend the weekend with Gabe and I. What a beautiful weekend to be on the lake! We were on the boat from noon until about 7 on Saturday! We got off the boat long enough to shower and then boated to our favorite restaurant on the lake. . .BRACCO'S! We all were exhausted and ready for bed by the time we got back to the cabin about 11:00--we are getting old! :) I love being with friends and miss all my friends that I don't get to see a lot :( Below are a few pictures from the fabulous weekend!

31 weeks

Is the baby here yet?!?! :) This week has been really hard on me. We started school and kids came on Thursday. Throw on top of that volleyball scrimmages until 9 last night and our gatorade scrimmage until 6:45 tonight--I'M COMPLETELY POOPED! My body is letting me know too. I am supposed to be at Gabe's gatorade scrimmage right now but just couldn't get myself to go. I am still icing my back as we speak. Anyway, I hope this weekend is a relaxing one! We are heading to Okoboji to have our last fling on the lake--we have some friends coming too so it should be a lot of fun.

9 weeks left! The baby has been kicking very hard lately but I love the feeling and knowing that soon I will meet this little person that has been growing inside of me for 9 months! This week the baby weighs as much as 4 naval oranges. Fascinating huh!

30 week photo

I thought I would post my 30 week photo quick!

AND had to add this story quick. My mom and I went into Des Moines tonight because the Buckle was having a friends and family night and we wanted to support Christin----when we came home, I found our spare bedroom was not so much the spare bedroom anymore. Gabe had taken the bed, dresser and everything else that was stored in there out and replaced it with our baby crib, changing table, stoller and carseat! HOW SWEET! I have been worried that nothing is really ready, well, it's getting closer!!! I'm adding a picture of what I came home too! I have the best husband ever! You will see the "finished" room within the next 10 weeks! :)

30 weeks

I am officially 30 weeks!  10 more weeks everyone!  I had my 30 week DR. appointment today.  I have gained 2 pounds in the past 2 weeks and my doctor said I am measuring perfect!  The heart rate today was 130--he said it sounded masculine--but 2 months ago he said it sounded femanine--we DON'T KNOW!!!  :)  Still feeling great and the baby is constantly kicking; the only time I am uncomfortable is when he/she is into my ribs (experiencing that right now!)  

This week, our baby is compared to a cabbage!  10 more fruits or vegetables to go!!! :)

A Wonderful Saturday Night

I thought I would blog quick about our Saturday night before we head to church with Gabe's family.  Yesterday, we attended a friend's wedding and got to see so many people that we haven't seen in such a long time.  It was so good to catch up with everyone!  I love seeing friends I haven't seen in forever; I sure missed them bunches!  It was funny too because throughout my entire pregnancy, rarely anyone has touched my stomach--but LAST NIGHT, I think everyone had to come up and rub Baby Baughman!  Our precious little one is so loved by so many already!!!  Below are some pictures of the wonderful day!  There are none of Gabe and his friends. . . you know how guys are when it comes to pictures--NONEXISTENT!

29 weeks

This past week went fast--Monday I was in Okoboji celebrating my mom's birthday!  It was a really fun day and the weather was perfect!

The rest of the week I had volleyball camp in the mornings--I'm definitely not used to getting up early because I had to take a nap every day!  Yikes!  What am I going to be like once school starts!

29 weeks and 1 day--only 11 left!!  Still feeling great.  My stomach must be rapidly growing because I went out to have lunch with my Grandma and Grandpa today and my grandma was like, "Whoa!  you really are starting to get a pouch!"  or something along that line--she's too funny!  Anyway, Baby Baughman is growing growing growing!  This weeks comparison is a butternut squash!

28 week photo!

So I know I was 28 weeks on Thursday, but I just got around to taking a picture today!  

Gabe and I were so excited to spend the day together in a fast track pregnancy class in Harlan.  It was kind of a long day but we did learn quite a bit and now get to start practicing our breathing exercises to get us ready for the big day!  All in all, it was worth the time and I'm glad we were able to do it!  I don't think I have snapped one pregnancy shot at our house, they have all been at my parents house-- this one as well!
